I am presently restoring a Mini Cooper S and was looking at purchasing a CAI Caerbont fuel level sender BF2242-00 . I was wondering what the ohm is on this gauge. My fuel tank sender is 270-15. would this gauge be suitable?
Yes that should be correct, I have just tested the Smiths Fuel level Sender CAI and that has the range from 263ohms at empty to 19ohms at full.
