I would be grateful if you could let me know which braided fuel pipe I would need for inside the car - a Mini Classic
If you are running the pipe through the car you would need a Metal Braided Hose or solid hard line. The most economic would be Mocal Metal Braided hose, this is a rubber hose, metal braided and the push on unions are secured with Norma hose clips. The second alternative is the Goodridge 811 hose which is used with 811 fittings, you would need to use the -6 size. The 811-06 hose is used in the car between bulkheads. In the engine bay and boot it is normal to use Goodridge 236-06 hose with the red and blue Goodridge 236 series unions. The final and possibly cheapest alternative would be to do this in the Goodridge aluminium hard line, this can be formed and shaped, especially if you have a pipe bending tool. The hardline is supplied in a 4m coil, at each bulkhead the hardline is terminated with a -6JIC bulkhead union. In the boot and engine bay the Goodridge 236 hose and unions are best. Both these hose system would leave you with a male -6 thread through the bulkhead at either end, the you can get whichever -6 female to what ever hose you are using at either end, we can do this to Mocal rubber hose and steel unions push on hose, or the Goodridge 236 hose system.
