I have an Imperial wedding car with a Nissan 2.7 diesel from a 4x4 Fairway Driver taxi donor car. My temperature gauge is a Smiths what sender is required for this engine?
If the engine is the 2.7TD Terrano the thread is M 12 x 1.5. Smiths do not make a M12 sender so you would need to use an adaptor and a 1/8" NPT sender: Also you must use a Caerbont voltage stabiliser on the feed to Caerbont, Smiths temperature and fuel level gauges.
